Stream of consciousness: In Edmund Husserl's philosophy, "stream of consciousness" refers to the continuous flow of subjective experiences and thoughts, emphasizing their immediacy and unity in the present moment, without preconceptions or interpretations. It's a central concept in phenomenology, the study of conscious experience. See also Thinking, Thoughts, Consciousness, Experience, Phenomenology, E. Husserl.

Edmund Husserl on Stream of Consciousness - Dictionary of Arguments

Gadamer I 249
Stream of Consciousness/Husserl/Gadamer: Each experience has implied horizons of before and after and ultimately merges with the continuum of experiences present in the before and after to form the unity of the stream of experience. Husserl's investigations into the constitution of time consciousness grew out of the necessity to grasp the mode of being of this stream and thus to include subjectivity in intentional correlation research. (...) the detail of the experience - as much as it retains its methodological significance as an intentional correlate of a constituted meaning - [is] not a final phenomenological date (...).
Gadamer I 250
Therefore the constitution underlies the temporality of consciousness of all constitutional problems. The stream of consciousness has the character of a universal horizon consciousness, from which only details are really given - as experiences. >Horizon/Husserl.
